Selection processes
Master Degree in Chemistry
PPGQ admits students to both its Master’s and Doctoral programs. The academic year is divided into two semesters: the first runs from March to July, and the second from August to December. Admission to the Master’s program occurs in the first semester, while Doctoral admissions are available in both semesters.
The selection process includes an evaluation of the candidate’s curriculum vitae and performance in the Unified Exam of General Knowledge in Chemistry (EUQ), which is conducted remotely via the TestWe platform. Additional information on application requirements, deadlines, examinations, and available positions is announced at the start of each admissions cycle in the official call for applications, published on the program’s website and Instagram account (@ppgq.ufes).
An acceptance letter from an eligible faculty advisor is required prior to enrollment. While English proficiency is not required for admission, it will be necessary before the qualification examination for candidates whose native language is not English.
