Program historical
Based in Vitória, Espírito Santo, PPGQ has been offering the Master’s degree in Chemistry since 2006 and the Doctoral degree since 2014. The program’s academic quality is certified by CAPES, a Brazilian federal evaluation agency, which awarded PPGQ a score of 5 in its most recent assessment.
To date, the program has graduated 285 Master’s and 91 PhD degree holders. Currently, 110 students are enrolled—42 in the Master’s program and 68 in the Doctoral program.
PPGQ’s faculty includes 27 advisors, primarily from the Department of Chemistry at UFES, as well as collaborators from other institutes in the state of Espírito Santo. These faculty members lead a wide range of research projects across five research lines.
Graduates and enrolled:The program already has 304 masters and 102 doctors and counts with 104 students regularly enrolled, being 34 in the masters and 70 in the doctorate.
